Ciel Welcomes Ciel of Princeton!

HarborChase of Princeton joins the Ciel Senior Living Family as Ciel of Princeton

WINTER PARK, FL. – Ciel Senior Living is pleased to announce that, as of December 1, 2023, they have assumed management of HarborChase of Princeton, now Ciel of Princeton. This 120-unit assisted living and memory care community in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey is the second new community taken under management since July 2023, when Ciel gained management of Ciel of Long Grove (previously HarborChase of Long Grove) in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. Ciel Senior Living now operates a portfolio encompassing more than 1,200 senior living units, employing over 700 team members across eight states.

Managing partners Ron Jeanneault and Edward Burnett commented in a joint statement, “We could not be more excited to add this community to our operating platform. As we all know, it starts with the team. Our focus has been, and will continue to be, putting together one of the leading operating, sales, and clinical teams in the industry; a team passionate and committed to serving seniors each and every day; a team with an acute understanding that an amazing executive director, surrounded by a top team of leaders and caregivers, will provide the utmost care, service, and optimal results.”

Among the many upcoming changes, Ciel of Princeton will benefit from a proprietary dementia care program coined “Connections by Ciel,” launched in September 2023. The program trains and equips memory care employees to provide exceptional care for residents who are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and other related dementias. The company also provides comprehensive Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) training for associates working in a memory care environment. Furthermore, they continue to strengthen their premier partnerships with key hospice, therapy, and pharmacy providers within each Ciel community’s respective market.

Ciel Senior Living combines innovative techniques to optimize the resident experience and maximize business performance. “At Ciel we strive to preserve dignity, self-worth, and create days filled with purpose, possibility, and joy. Ciel is poised for incredible success and an extremely bright future,” stated Alexis Martini, president and chief operating officer.

Ciel Senior Living is a subsidiary of Bourne Financial Group (“BFG”), a boutique private equity firm that has specialized in the acquisition and development of Class A, private pay seniors housing communities since its inception in 2014. BFG currently owns a portfolio of 30 seniors housing communities across the United States. Bob Bourne, CEO of Bourne Financial Group remarked, “We are very pleased with the corporate leadership team that we have assembled at Ciel Senior Living, including Ed, Ron, and Alexis. Together, they provide Ciel with the leadership and experience to grow the operating company, making improvements which will benefit our investors in the years to come.”

About Ciel Senior Living: “Ciel” (pronounced see-el) is a French word meaning “sky,” symbolizing the company’s commitment to providing each resident the freedom of living a life of flexibility, balance, and connection, where they are supported to be their best selves. The company’s philosophy is based around the notion that every resident deserves to feel connected, inspired, enriched, and to live well.
