With the number of diagnoses steadily rising, this distinction reflects our proactive commitment to meeting residents’ evolving needs with insight and compassion.
Various team members across select Ciel communities have completed advanced training in Parkinson’s care, enabling them to design and deliver care plans that account for the unique symptoms, medication routines, and therapeutic goals associated with this diagnosis.

SafelyYou at Ciel Senior Living
Supporting Safety and Dignity Through Fall Detection Innovation
At select Ciel Senior Living communities, residents in our memory care program now benefit from SafelyYou, a groundbreaking AI video technology solution designed to detect and prevent falls for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Developed out of UC Berkeley’s Artificial Intelligence Research Lab and inspired by personal experience with memory loss, SafelyYou empowers safer, more person-centered dementia care by combining AI-enabled cameras with 24/7 remote clinical support. The technology captures only the moments before and after a fall—never live video—and shares that insight with on-site teams to better understand what happened and how to prevent future incidents.
This partnership is part of Ciel’s ongoing commitment to advancing the quality of life for those living with memory impairment. With SafelyYou, our teams can make more informed care decisions, reduce unnecessary ER visits, and most importantly, bring greater peace of mind to families.
