Adriana Zamora
Executive Director
With over a decade of experience in the senior living industry, Adriana began her career as a preschool teacher in California before moving to Arizona. Her passion for caregiving led her to transition into senior living, where she started as a caregiver and quickly ascended the ranks to become an activities director and business office coordinator. Recognizing her lifelong calling to care for seniors, Adriana furthered her career as an executive director and area director, earning the 2019 ALFA Executive Director of the Year award.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her children, hiking, staying active, and immersing herself in the outdoors.
Sheri Simpson
Assistant Executive Director
Sheri’s purpose lies in sharing knowledge and assisting families in navigating the complexities of the senior living industry, ensuring informed decisions. As a seasoned professional, Sheri has become an expert in all aspects of senior living through continuous education. Her commitment involves helping parents maintain a purposeful life while keeping them engaged.
Sheri’s heart is filled with love for her husband, children, and grandchildren, making her feel incredibly blessed as she dedicates herself to her life’s purpose.
Teri Deibert-Nash
Life Enrichment Director
Teri’s deep-seated passion for helping others has been a constant thread throughout her career. Teri’s corporate journey involved a long and impactful career as a corporate trainer, where she rained directors and management teams. As chairperson of Safeway’s Women’s Network Group, she advocated for seniors by organizing activities at nearby convalescent hospitals and spearheading an elder care support group for employees. Recognizing her unwavering commitment to senior care, her manager encouraged her to make it a full-time career, a transition she embraced when Safeway was acquired by Albertsons. Over seven years, Teri has worked as a business office coordinator and director in senior living, taking pride in her role as a dedicated team player and leader of various activities. Teri is excited about the opportunity to connect with and bring joy to the residents of Bella Vista Senior Living.
Originally from California, Teri Deibert-Nash and her husband, retired radio announcer Phil Nash – along with their loyal German Shepherd, Sammy – made Arizona their home in 2016.
Andrea Whitmore
Health & Wellness Director
Andrea brings more than 12 years of experience in geriatric care to Bella Vista Senior Living. Raised in Iowa, Andrea’s close relationship with her grandparents ignited her passion for helping the elderly. Her journey began in high school as an activities assistant at a local skilled nursing facility, followed by years as a certified nursing assistant. She pursued a nursing education at Des Moines Area Community College, earning her diploma in practical nursing. Andrea’s healthcare background spans internal medicine, orthopedics, and senior living, accumulating five years of expertise.
During her leisure time, she relishes outdoor activities, playing sand volleyball, staying active, and cherishing moments with her friends and family.
Rita Arriaga
Business Director
Rita Arriaga has always had a passion for seniors as she loves hearing the stories of wisdom they pass on. In 2007, she started her career as a caregiver, then med tech, then activities director, bringing joy to seniors every day. Rita later found a different type of passion on the operational side and quickly became business director. Here at Bella Vista, she has found her work family. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and loved ones.
Chris Skinner
Dining Services Director
Originally from Texas, Chris Skinner moved to Minnesota as a child and there she discovered her love of cooking. She furthered her love for the craft and trained at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School. She spent 15 years as a head chef catering private events until she moved into the senior living industry five years ago. Chris and her staff are committed to enhancing the dining experience for our residents at Bella Vista. In her free time, she spends time with her friends, camping, and playing with her dog, Meatball.
