Alexis Martini

Alexis is an accomplished professional with a remarkable 24-year career in senior living, distinguished by resolute leadership and transformative management. Her extensive experience encompasses various critical sectors of the senior living industry, including assisted living, personal care, skilled nursing, home care, independent living, dementia care, commercial real estate, and 55+ active adult living.

Before assuming the role of CEO at Ciel Senior Living, Alexis served as the Chief Operating Officer at MorningStar Senior Living. In her capacity there, she provided oversight to more than 34 communities, led numerous ambitious new development projects, and orchestrated multiple successful acquisition ventures.

The foundation of Alexis’s steadfast commitment to healthcare is deeply personal, rooted in her earliest professional experiences as a nurse’s aide in a nursing home. Her formative years, influenced greatly by her grandparents, Gail and David, as well as her great-grandmother, Dolly, ignited a relentless drive to advocate for the well-being of seniors. This commitment is evident not only in her professional achievements but also in her dedication to furthering her education, as evidenced by her SPHR in Human Resource Management, Degree in Business Administration, and National Dementia Practitioner Certification. These qualifications stand as a testament to her expertise and unwavering dedication to her field. Alexis’s journey is not just one of professional accomplishment, but also a powerful testament to the transformative impact that unwavering passion and commitment can have in senior care.

Ashley Guido

Ashley always felt a calling to seniors thanks to memorable visits and cooking lessons with her great-grandmother, Lena. While the military moved the family many times during her childhood, the travels back to North Carolina to visit her are what Ashley looked forward to the most.

She attended Georgia’s Armstrong Atlantic State University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Landing in Colorado Springs in 2011, where she was honored to be coined by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for her exceptional nursing care. Now, with 15 years of experience, Ashley has advanced her CDP to a CADDCT (Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer). She also served in skilled nursing, home health, and hospice before landing in senior living as a Regional Vice President of Wellness and eventually Chief Clinical Officer.

In the midst of her career progression, Ashley also pursued graduate studies and became a Certified Dementia Practitioner. In 2019, she earned both a Master’s in Nursing Leadership and a Master’s in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University.

Bill Blouin

In addition to an undergraduate and master’s in business administration degree with an emphasis in human resources management, Bill brings over 30 years of human resources experience to the Ciel Senior Living team. For 20 years, Bill has held senior leadership positions within Brookdale Senior Living, Senior Lifestyle Corporation and Harbor Retirement Associates. These aggressive growth senior housing providers experienced more than 200 percent growth during his tenure. His goal is to provide a best-in-class human resources experience for all associates.

Jordana Jobanputra

Jordana has nearly 20 years of senior living experience. Following completion of her Master’s in Social Work degree, she began her senior living career as a Memory Care Director in her hometown. It was in this role where she embraced her ability to nurture and enrich the environment where seniors can thrive and feel validated. It was during this time she expressed her love for helping families through expanding her skillset into sales and marketing.

Her passion for helping seniors stems from her early childhood, where she would volunteer at her family church, alongside her mom at the American Red Cross, the local hospital near her childhood home, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Boys and Girls Club, and the local nursing home where her great-grandmother lived. Through the mentorship and strong relationships between her and her family members, she was inspired to devote her life to serving others.

Prior to joining Ciel Senior Living, Jordana held several senior-level Sales and Marketing leadership roles within prominent senior living companies. Most recently, she oversaw the sales and marketing efforts for more than 3,000 units within three portfolios, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care in 12 U.S. states.

She has spent her career coaching and supporting team members and vendor partners, allowing her to understand the impact of meaningful experiences at each community she has supported. Jordana is most passionate and proud about the honorable work we do each day to help our residents shine at Ciel Senior Living.

David Koelling

David is the founder and president of Strategic Dining Services, a dining and hospitality management company focused on the senior living industry.

A nationally known restauranteur and chef, he has served as the chief operating officer for Odyssey Cruises and consulted for high-profile restaurants and food-service operations such as Michael Jordan Golf Centers, Jack Nicklaus’ Wynstone Country Club Development and Peapod Grocery. Additionally, he has founded highly-rated restaurants including The Greenery, The Old State Bank and Biloxi Grill, all in suburban Chicago.

David founded The American Harvest Cooking School, which supports professional, corporate and non-professional clients. Koelling recently accepted the Chefs Legacy Award from Meals on Wheels for his work in feeding people in need. David has extensive knowledge of wine and attended the American Harvest Workshop in Napa, California. He has led culinary foraging, fishing and exploration trips around the U.S. and works diligently to connect farmers and producers to chefs.

While serving as vice president of corporate services for a large property management company, David led the company’s corporate support team in the areas of hospitality, programming, dining services, property operations and purchasing. David has consulted for national service-ware manufacturers, creating innovative dinnerware designs for senior and memory care residents.

David holds a bachelor of arts degree from Michigan State University. He was twice nominated for Inc. Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award and has received the Partner in Eldercare Award from the state of Illinois for his work in providing meals for seniors in need.

Melanie Seamans

Melanie joins Ciel Senior Living with an impressive tapestry of experience woven over decades in the senior living industry, spanning from skilled nursing to independent living. Her career is a testament to her unwavering dedication, shaped by thirty years of multi-state operations and sales leadership. Most recently, she served as the Regional Vice President of Operations and Sales at MorningStar Senior Living, where her leadership and vision profoundly impacted the lives of countless team members, seniors, and their families.

Melanie’s journey into the world of senior living is deeply personal and profoundly inspiring. Her passion for enhancing the lives of seniors ignited during the precious moments spent with her beloved grandmother as she aged. Those visits to the skilled nursing center became a pivotal chapter in Melanie’s life, where she witnessed both the challenges and joys of aging. It was in those heartfelt encounters that Melanie made a heartfelt promise to herself: to advocate for and uplift the quality of life for seniors, ensuring they receive the compassion, dignity, and respect they deserve, regardless of where life’s journey takes them.

Originally hailing from Syracuse, New York, Melanie has embraced the warmth and vibrancy of Arizona, creating a life filled with love alongside her husband and two adult children. Her family is her anchor, and together they have navigated life’s adventures, always cherishing the value of connection and community.

Thomas Milewski

Vice President of Community Maintenance and Engineering Tom hails from the vibrant city of Chicago and is the proud son of a battalion fire chief. At just 18, he began his heroic journey with the fire department, embarking on a remarkable 30-year career as a firefighter and first responder. One of the defining moments of Tom’s life came on September 11, 2001, when he was deployed to Manhattan as a member of the elite Task Force 1. For 30 grueling days, Tom worked tirelessly at Ground Zero, resting in a vacant building nearby. Among those he helped recover were eight firefighters from Ladder 13, including two cousins.

In 2006, Tom made the move to Arizona to care for his father, leading him to a second career in maintenance — starting with hotels, homeowner associations, and flourishing in senior living. Most recently, he served as the Regional VP of Building and Maintenance Operations for MorningStar Senior Living.

When asked, “Why Ciel?”. Tom passionately shared, “I felt called to this company by its philosophy and values. I value an organization that values its team and prioritizes its residents.” Tom and his wonderful wife, Judy, call Youngstown, Ohio home and cherish every moment spent with their seven children and 11 grandchildren.
