Park Avenue Lifestyle Becomes Ciel Senior Living

Elevated Senior Living company rebrands with new growth

Park Avenue Lifestyle, a senior living management company, has announced its official rebranding, becoming Ciel Senior Living effective September 1, 2023. The rebranding signifies the recent joint venture between Bourne Financial Group, Edward Burnett, and Ron Jeanneault. It reflects the company’s expansion into senior living development, growth of its management platform and newly created consulting offering.

Ciel Senior Living is poised for growth, with avenues for new partnerships, management, acquisitions, and development. Their most recent endeavor entails assuming the management of HarborChase at Long Grove, now named Ciel at Long Grove. The company now operates a portfolio encompassing more than 1,200 units, employing over 700 team members across seven states. With an expanding footprint on the east coast, Ciel will continue to see accelerated growth in 2024 and beyond.

A statement from managing partners Ron Jeanneault and Edward Burnett said, “We could not be more excited to partner with Bob Bourne and his team at Bourne Financial Group to enhance and grow this operating platform. As we all know, it all starts with the team. Our focus has been, and will continue to be, putting together one of the leading operating, sales, and clinical teams in the industry. A team passionate and committed to serving seniors each and every day. A team with an acute understanding that an amazing executive director, surrounded by a top team of leaders and caregivers, will provide the utmost care, service, and optimal results.”

The company has recently hired Alexis Martini as president and chief operating officer. Alexis comes to Ciel Senior Living with over 25 years of experience in senior living, healthcare, and real estate. Her career has spanned across personal care and home care, 55+ active adult living, independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and commercial real estate. Alexis was honored to be named one of Argentum’s “Senior Living Leaders Under 40.” Alexis is a tenured and passionate local and national advocate for public policy changes, local community consciousness, and accessibility to resources that affect the senior population at large.

Bob Bourne, CEO of Bourne Financial Group remarked, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Ed, Ron, and Alexis on the team. They provide Ciel with the leadership and experience to grow the operating company; improvements which will benefit our investors in the years to come.”

Ashley Guido has been appointed to serve as the chief clinical officer. Ashley comes to Ciel Senior Living with 13 years’ experience, first in critical and trauma care. She also served in skilled nursing, home health and hospice before most recently serving as the vice president of wellness within the assisted living and memory care sectors. Ashley has spearheaded the implementation of enrolling each employed nurse in the American Assisted Living Nurses Association. This supports the company’s commitment to providing ongoing education to their esteemed community clinical teams through web-based technology and evidence-based practices.

Ciel Senior Living has advanced this strategic rebranding by launching Connections by Ciel, designed to care for residents who are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and other related dementias. They have implemented an advanced dementia training program for health and wellness directors, memory care directors, and life enrichment directors, as well as comprehensive Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) training to those working in a memory care environment. Furthermore, they continue to strengthen their premier partnerships with key hospice, therapy, and pharmacy providers within each market.

“Ciel” (pronounced SEE-el) is a French word meaning “sky,” signifying the company’s commitment to providing each resident the freedom of living a life of flexibility, balance, and connection, where they are supported to be their best selves. The company’s philosophy is based around the notion that every resident deserves to feel connected, inspired, enriched, and to live well.

Ciel Senior Living combines innovative techniques to optimize the resident experience and maximize business performance. “At Ciel we strive to preserve dignity, self-worth, and create days filled with purpose, possibility, and joy. Ciel is poised for incredible success and an extremely bright future,” states Alexis Martini, president and chief operating officer.
